Hello, everyone, Without any changes on my end, DSD Plus suddenly stopped displaying the "audio input device". It still decodes, but there is no audio output to the speakers. I have already reinstalled both my sound drivers and VB-Cable. Below are screenshots of the .bat files and the program...
Video below of Big Clive dissecting a stereo isolation transformer. Similar ones were sold by Radio Shack and likely still available. One of these can serve two receivers and two sound car inputs. Note the beefy transfromers inside. There are cheap tiny versions on Amazon that are probably junk and may not actually have transformers inside, just capacitors to lift the voltage from the audio ...
He had so much input and pre-amp gain running that when he was playing, he got that great sound, but as soon as he stopped it went into feedback from all the gain. The 880 does something similar in that when a station that's been full-quieting shuts off, the receiver starts roaring static.
STDIN input working Beefier Sound (my Personal Biased opinion) PortAudio Currently disabled (still need to test), OSS removed (including Solaris and Apple/BSD) Monitor Source Audio currently disabled (latency/buffering/pulse server crashing issue) First, install prerequisites if you haven't built any variety of DSD before.
Having issues piping audio from SDR# to DSD+ on my laptop. On my desktop, it works fine because DSD recognizes the VB cable as the only audio input source. On laptop, the laptop microphone appears as audio input device 1, so no audio comes through to DSD. Otherwise, SDR sharp works good...
Input is the repeater receive frequency and the user radio transmit frequency. Output is the repeater transmit frequency and the user radio receive frequency. In Baofeng radio menus: T-DCS is transmit DCS (or DPL) T-CTCS transmit CTCSS (or PL) R-DCS is receive DCS R-CTCS is receive CTCSS Click to expand...
DSDPlus is not finding audio input devices on startup, only audio output devices ????? Any ideas how to fix it to find the audio input devices (the VB Cable Output device)?
Like I have both frequencies for the other county because I gotta off the radio reference scanner page. And I do have permission, I just need to know the difference between input and output frequency. Because I saw two frequencies I'm trying to figure out is the input frequency = TX frequency and output frequency = RX frequency.
Maybe dumb question, but I'm trying to program Dallas County Skywarn frequencies in my scanner and in the RR database there are Input and Output frequencies listed. Which do I program? Is Output if I were "Transmitting"? Any thoughts? Thanks.
The only other suggestion I can think of is to make sure your microphone/input device is not muted - either in the device settings or maybe there is a mute button on the keyboard. Good luck!
